This piece is based on the ‘Mandala’ concept, focusing on the ‘Goddess’/ Moon connection and the Feminine elements. Each figure represents a direction on the wheel, a different culture and race. East: Diana, Goddess of the Hunt from Greek and Roman lore. South: Isis or Mat from the Egyptian Mythos. West: White Buffalo Calf Woman from plains Indian legends. North: Blodeuwedd, the owl Goddess from Welsh Mythology
